I have had the gift of intuition since childhood. My
mother had the “gift” but referred to it as women’s intuition. One day
I asked her if I had intuition & she just smiled. Back then; this
was not discussed, out of fear of what the people would think.
By the age of 10, my first premonition occurred
& regarded the passing on of my beloved grandfather. I had the
“vision” in April & he passed away of a heart attack in July. I
also found that I often knew what I would get for Christmas, or who was
even at the door, yet nothing was as intense & frightening as the
vision of my grandfather.
Over the years; the premonitions were still there,
however, I taught myself how to handle them, including a divorce &
the passing of my father.
I kept my “gift” a secret, except for family &
as the years passed, my wonderful significant other & our children
encouraged me to help others outside the family unit. Honesty to one’s
self is the key. Things happen for a reason & the serenity prayer
is my guidance.
Lord grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
& the wisdom to know the difference.
